The United Arab Emirates to allow ICOs as funding option

According to the head of the United Arab Emirates' (U.A.E) securities watchdog, Obaid Saif al-Zaab, "The board of the Emirates Securities & Commodities Authority has approved considering ICOs as securities."  The Emirates Securities & Commodities Authority is currently drafting regulations for ICOs and working with Dubai stock markets to develop ICO only trading platforms. Domestic companies in the U.A.E will be able to raise funds through ICOs in the first half of 2019. (Source: Reuters)
