Bittrex introduces Initial Exchange Offering, doesn't explicitly ban Chinese citizens

U.S. crypto exchange Bittrex is following in the footsteps of fellow crypto exchange Binance's "Launchpad" initiative and introducing new token offerings. The exchange declined to rule out that its Chinese users will be able to participate in its first so-called Initial Exchange Offering (IEO). The IEO will be hosted via the exchange's Malta-based arm, Bittrex International.

The subsidiary confirmed to a China-based user in a tweet that as long as they were "eligible for Bittrex International, you will be able to participate." Bittrex's site discussing the upcoming sale of the RAID XRD token even has a version translated in Chinese, The Block found.
