$4 million in bitcoins to be auctioned off by U.S. Marshals

The U.S. Marshals announced that they are having a sealed bid auction for about 660 bitcoin or $4.3 million worth which was forfeited in an assortment of federal criminal, civil, and administrative cases. The U.S. Marshals require participating bidders to register their identity with the agency and to deposit $200,000 prior to the November 5th auction. The agency hosted similar auctions in both January and March, selling more than $50 million of bitcoins at the time. (Source: CoinDesk)
