Over 50 mentors join Fidelity-backed blockchain accelerator

Startup Studio, a blockchain accelerator program backed by Fidelity and over other 20 firms, has attracted more than 50 mentors to help blockchain startups and entrepreneurs grow further.

The program was launched last week by IDEO CoLab Ventures, a venture arm from design firm IDEO, and the mentors include Meltem Demirors, chief strategy officer of digital assets manager CoinShares, Teck Chia, head of Binance X at Binance, and investor Katherine Wu, among others.

The mentors will advise and coach startups that participate in the program this year, per the announcement.

“Bringing together a wide range of domain experts and service providers under one umbrella to help companies grow, expand, and collaborate is a fantastic resource, and will benefit both young upstarts and more established companies looking to take bitcoin mainstream,” Demirors told The Block.

Wu told us that she is “confident” that the program will be “invaluable to entrepreneurs and startups who are looking to build for the future of crypto.”

The program offers one-day workshops on various topics, including product design, user testing, hiring, finance, law and engineering.
