BitGo announces support for Gemini dollar

The crypto custody provider now supports over 100 cryptoassets, up from 8 less than a year ago. BitGo also offers custody services for other stablecoins including Dai, Paxos Standard, TrueUSD, and USDC. The increased support for stablecoins was in direct response to BitGo's internal record of API requests from its clients. From October 9 to November 9, BitGo clients submitted over a hundred thousand searches for TrueUSD and USDC, respectively. Their clients also submitted nearly 29,000 searches for Dai.

In addition to announcing custody support for stablecoins, BitGo also announced that it has doubled its staff to more than 100 employees and now has roughly 300 institutional customers. (Source: CoinDesk)
