Tencent, China's tech giant, has identified a bug on the NEO-network that enables hackers to steal tokens from users' node wallets remotely. According to the company's security lab, users are at risk when they open a network node in the default configuration and recommends they upgrade their NEO nodes as well as manually changing wallet addresses to avoid the bug. NEO is a smart contract and dApp platform often referred to as the "Chinese Ethereum" due to its popularity in China and its structural similarities. NEO has a market cap of $532M as of the time of this writing. (Source: BlockManityWeibo
