About Valkyrie Bitcoin And Ether Strategy ETF
The Valkyrie Bitcoin and Ether Strategy ETF (BTF), managed by Valkyrie Funds, is a futures ETF with an inception date of October 21, 2021. Unlike spot ETFs, which directly hold the underlying assets (in this case, Bitcoin and Ether), a futures ETF invests in Bitcoin and Ether futures contracts. BTF added Ethereum futures to the fund in September 2023, seeking to provide investors with exposure to both Ethereum and Bitcoin under one ticker. BTF charges an annual management fee of 1.24%.
