Research report gives Coinbase Pro top rank for security

ICORating released a report analyzing the security of cryptocurrency exchanges. Of the 100 exchanges covered in the report:

  • 41% allow passwords with fewer than eight symbols
  • 37% allow passwords with either digits or letters alone
  • 5% allow the creation of accounts without email verification
  • 3% lack 2-factor authentication
