HashKey partners with Telegram game Catizen to extend GameFi reach

HashKey Group, an Asia-based digital asset financial services firm, has partnered with Catizen, a Telegram mini-game, for future collaborations, including a potential HSK airdrop campaign. HashKey continues to bet big on the TON ecosystem.
In a statement shared with The Block, HashKey said that the partnership will encompass “gamified experiences in digital finance, a joint HSK airdrop campaign, animal protection, and social responsibility initiatives.”
Launched earlier this year, Catizen claims to have seen over 29 million users globally, with its daily active users peaking at 3.5 million, according to the statement.
“This collaboration marks a significant milestone for Catizen, enabling us to provide our 20 million global community members with enhanced, compliant, and reliable digital asset services,” said Tim Wong, chairman of Catizen Foundation.
In April, TON Foundation, a group of contributors behind The Open Network (TON) blockchain, partnered with HashKey to “increase access” to fiat on- and off-ramps for Telegram wallet users.
The Block reported last month that Binance Labs had invested an undisclosed sum in Pluto Studio, the publisher of Citizen.
The price of Toncoin (TON) climbed 4.29% over the past 24 hours at $6.8 at the time of writing, according to The Block’s price page.
