Tokenized real-world asset manager Securitize announced Tuesday the launch of the Neuberger Securitize High Income Tokenized Fund. This marks the first engagement by Neuberger, a global investment manager with $230 billion in AUM, as subadvisor to a tokenized fund.

The fund, HINC, seeks to generate attractive risk-adjusted returns by investing primarily in high-yield bonds and other income-producing fixed-income investments. As subadvisor, Neuberger brings its deep fixed income expertise in portfolio management and research to the strategy.

"This tokenized fund brings Neuberger’s established fixed income capabilities to public blockchains," Securitize CEO Carlos Domingo said in a release. "Launching HINC across Avalanche, Ethereum, Solana and Sui gives eligible investors access through four leading blockchain networks, supported by Securitize’s regulated, end-to-end tokenization platform."

Last month, Securitize gained status as a registered investment advisor with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. Its subsidiary Securitize Capital LLC will allow the firm to work more closely with asset managers and institutional investors on tokenized investment strategies.

Securitize stock (SECZ) went public on July 2, becoming the first firm to debut its stock simultaneously on the New York Stock Exchange and onchain. The firm posted record revenue of $19.5 million in the first quarter, up nearly 40% year over year, along with $3.4 billion in tokenized assets under management.

"Neuberger's fixed income platform has navigated decades of market cycles, growing into a globally integrated business built on diversified, research-intensive solutions," said Anil Abraham, Head of Product Management at Neuberger. "We are pleased to work with Securitize to extend our process-driven, actively managed approach to qualified investors looking to access fixed income strategies on-chain."

Securitize Capital LLC serves as HINC’s investment adviser. HINC will be available to eligible accredited investors and qualified purchasers through Securitize, subject to onboarding, KYC/AML checks, jurisdictional eligibility and applicable securities-law requirements, according to the release.
