Cathie Wood-led investment firm Ark Invest sold shares of Bitmine, Block, Bullish, and Robinhood on Wednesday as the stocks traded lower.
According to Ark's Wednesday trading disclosure, the firm sold 120,665 shares in Bitmine, worth around $2 million, from its ARKK exchange-traded fund. The Tom Lee-led Ethereum treasury company dropped 5.6% on Wednesday to close the day at $16.59.
Ark also offloaded 13,403 shares of Block Inc. ($1.1 million), 12,561 shares of Robinhood ($1.1 million), and 11,314 shares of Bullish ($247,097). All three stocks traded lower yesterday.
Meanwhile, the investment firm purchased 128,932 shares of Elon Musk's SpaceX, worth roughly $14.5 million, across its multiple ETFs. SpaceX fell 3.32% on the Nasdaq on Wednesday to $112.55, dropping further below its IPO price of $135.
Ark actively adjusts its ETF holdings so that no single stock exceeds 10% of a fund's portfolio. This means Ark would rebalance weightings when the value of certain assets fluctuates significantly.
