The Chairman of South Korea's National Policy Committee called for the legalization of initial coin offerings today. "I do not want the ICO door closed completely", the chairman said, adding that the industry needs to self regulate and introduce safety standards. This call counters South Korea's financial watchdog, the Financial Services Commission, which announced a ban on ICOs in September 2017. (Source: CoinDesk)
