Jeff Garzik asked for information in the Craig Wright lawsuit

Bloq CEO and early bitcoin developer Jeff Garzik has been subpoenaed to provide information for the Craig Wright trial. He shared the subpoena document online on Friday. Twenty-eight requests made by the court include providing documentation and all communications with Craig Wright, David Kleiman, and Satoshi Nakamoto. Garzik worked directly with Nakamoto, working on the bitcoin code in 2010.

Garzik has previously made claims that David Kleiman was Satoshi Nakamoto, due to their similar coding style. He was asked to provide any documents and communication regarding the identity of the anonymous Bitcoin white paper author.

In an interview with Bloomberg, Garzik said: “My personal theory is that it’s Floridian Dave Kleiman. It matches his coding style, this gentleman was self taught. And the Bitcoin coder was someone who was very, very smart, but not a classically trained software engineer.”

Garzik was given 30 days to provide the court with the information.
