South Korean consortium buys a majority stake in Bithumb for ~$350M

Bithumb is one the largest Korean cryptocurrency exchange by trading volume. BK Global Consortium signed a deal to buy 50% plus one share of BTC Holding Co., the largest investor in Bithumb. Prior to the deal, BK Global Consortium was the fifth-largest shareholder of BTC Holding Co. This deal solidifies BK Global Consortium's position as the largest shareholder in Bithumb and will be completed in February 2018. (Source: Bloomberg)
