Japanese SBI Group establishes SBI Mining Chip Co., starts manufacturing mining chips

Japanese financial services giant SBI Group has announced the establishment of a new subsidiary that will be responsible for manufacturing mining chips and developing mining systems—SBI Mining Chip Co. Ltd (SBIMC).

According to its press release, “the SBI Group strongly promote on a wide range of businesses based on the digital asset, including cryptocurrency exchange business and other blockchain related businesses.” The SBI Group has already tested its cryptocurrency mining business overseas and now it’s going to move forward by manufacturing miners itself.

BRD crypto wallet CEO, Adam Traidman has been appointed to represent SBIMC due to his experience in the field of leading-edge semiconductors and electronics.
