Barclays puts crypto trading project on ice

Barclays' cryptocurrency trading initiative was put on hold not long after the bank assembled a team just earlier this year. The team was to investigate how the investment bank could fit digital asset trading into its markets practice. Chris Tyrer, the bank's former head of energy trading, led the "digital assets project", but left the bank in September after the bank halted the project. (Source: Financial News)
