Facebook official uncertain who will actually be able to use Libra

It is still uncertain who will be able to use Facebook’s Libra, Bloomberg writes. At House Financial Services Committee Hearing, Facebook’s David Marcus said the company has not yet worked out such details.

“We haven’t written a policy yet,” Marcus said when asked whether people banned from Facebook, will be able to use the cryptocurrency.

U.S. Rep. Sean Duffy said the U.S. dollar does not discriminate and everyone can use it. His disapproval echoed his party’s sentiment to Facebook’s social standards and banning people for breaking the policies.

Facebook has banned a number of people from its platform, including Louis Farrakhan and Milo Yiannopoulos, for policy violations.
