<p>Ethereum development and venture studio ConsenSys has granted $175,000 to seven blockchain projects working on the ethereum network.</p> <p>These include - Lighthouse, an ethereum software client; Tellor, a decentralized oracle network for open finance; and Alice, a decentralized app maker, among other open-source software projects, CoinDesk<a href="https://www.coindesk.com/7-ethereum-projects-are-getting-175000-in-grants-from-consensys"> reported</a> Thursday.<br /> <br /> Yadira Blocker, head of experiential marketing at ConsenSys, said: “In Wave 1, we saw a lot of applications but they weren’t super strong. In Wave 2, we started to see more credible teams and more unique ideas come to the table.”</p> <p>The third wave of ConsenSys grants is also <a href="https://media.consensys.net/consensys-grants-wave-ii-applications-closing-sept-10th-3485c70ac896">open</a> for applications since last month, with a remaining $220,000 left to give away. ConsenSys <a href="https://twitter.com/ConsenSys/status/1096830115818979329?s=20">launched</a> the grants program in February of this year, and so far has received over 150 applications, according to Blocker. </p>
