<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Wall Street veteran and former CEO of blockchain startup Digital Asset, Blythe Masters, has joined investment firm Motive Partners following its $473 million private equity fund. </span></p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Masters previously worked for JP Morgan as its head of global commodities for almost three decades. In 2015, she became the CEO of Digital Asset, creator of the open-source DAML smart contract language, but stepped down last December due to personal reasons, according to a </span><a href="https://hub.digitalasset.com/press-release/blythe-masters-steps-down-as-ceo-of-digital-asset"><span style="font-weight: 400;">company announcement</span></a> at the time<span style="font-weight: 400;">. </span></p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Her </span><a href="https://www.linkedin.com/in/blythemasters/"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Linkedin profile</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400;"> shows that since then she has assumed advisor roles at blockchain lending startup </span><a href="https://www.figure.com/"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Figure</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400;"> and fintech mortgage exchange </span><a href="https://www.maxex.com/"><span style="font-weight: 400;">MAXEX</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400;">. </span></p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">It has been a year since Masters left her post at Digital Asset.
