<p>Cryptocurrency exchange Binance now has an option to directly add Visa debit and credit cards on its platform.</p> <p>The feature allows buying four cryptocurrencies - bitcoin (BTC), ether (ETH), Binance’s native token (BNB) and XRP - directly with Visa cards, according to an <a href="https://binance.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360037914692-Binance-Now-Supports-Purchasing-Crypto-by-Binding-Visa-Cards-to-Your-Account">announcement</a> Thursday.</p> <p>The exchange already supports the buying of crypto via debit and credit cards through third-party payment processors, such as <a href="https://www.binance.com/en/blog/297658163885826048/Binance-Enables-Credit-Card-Payments-Through-Simplex-Partnership-Furthering-Crypto-Adoption-Worldwide">Simplex</a>. This option is a direct integration.</p> <p>At present, Visa cards issued within the 31 countries of the European Economic Area are supported, including the U.K., Germany, France, Greece, and Malta. Accordingly, two fiat currencies - euro (EUR) and British pound (GBP) - are supported.</p> <p>Binance said support for Mastercard cards and additional currencies will be added “in the near future.”</p>
