Cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase has launched trading support for USDC and Zcash for New York residents.

On Monday, the exchange announced in two separate tweets that residents of the New York state can now use Coinbase to buy, sell, convert, send, receive, or store USDC and Zcash

Coinbase first launched USDC and Zcash trading in late 2018, but New York has not been a supported jurisdiction until now. The state's stringent regulatory requirements were likely behind the delay.

But Coinbase has been expanding its list of supported tokens in New York. In 2019, it added a number of new coins for New York residents to access and trade including XRP, Dai (DAI), Stellar Lumens (XLM), and Chainlink (LINK).
