California's campaign watchdog, the Fair Political Practices Commission (FPPC), voted 3-1 in favor of a ban on campaign donations in cryptocurrencies. While other states have considered similar restrictions, the Federal Elections Commission currently allows crypto contributions to federal candidate campaigns. (Source: AP)
