<p>Coinbase Wallet has announced support for .crypto blockchain domains via integration with Unstoppable Domains.</p> <p>Unstoppable Domains shared the news with The Block on Wednesday, saying that Coinbase Wallet users can now pay one another by typing a domain (xyz.crypto) into the send field, instead of using long addresses that consist of alphanumeric characters.</p> <p>“By supporting blockchain domains, Coinbase is single-handedly moving this market into the crypto mainstream,” said Unstoppable Domains co-founder Brad Kam. “Blockchain domains will be a standard that all crypto wallets use in the near future.”</p> <p>Huobi Wallet and MyEtherWallet, among others, also currently <a href="https://unstoppabledomains.com/">support</a> .crypto blockchain domains. Unstoppable Domains said it has registered over 250,000 domains to date.</p> <p>Unstoppable Domains was founded in 2018 and is backed by notable investors, including Draper Associates and Boost VC. The firm has <a href="https://www.businesswire.com/news/home/20190523005182/en/Unstoppable-Domains-Raises-4-Million-Free-Internet">raised</a> a total of $4.73 million to date. San Francisco-based Unstoppable Domains has also received grants from the Ethereum Foundation and the Zilliqa Foundation.</p>
