"The seed funding enables Framework Labs to grow its research, trading and engineering teams, craft governance proposals for DeFi blockchain protocols, provide liquidity to non-custodial decentralized exchanges, incubate promising startups, and build consumer-facing applications on top of protocols that Framework Ventures has backed," Framework Ventures said in a press statement.

The funding round was led by Station 13. Station 13 is a sister company of JDS Sports.
