Kaiko To Host Key Leaders At Its First Institutional Forum In Cannes

The Agora takes place alongside EthCC on March 31 with a day of debate and discussion among top institutional decision makers in crypto and TradFi

Paris, France – February 16, 2026 Kaiko, the global digital asset data provider, is proud to announce the launch of its inaugural institutional day called The Agora, which will bring together senior executives, builders, and decision makers from the worlds of traditional and digital finance to discuss the next era of capital markets.

The Agora will be held in cooperation with EthCC and will take place in Cannes, France, on 31 March 2026. The curated, non-sponsored event will focus on the fundamental restructuring of financial market infrastructure that is currently underway. Discussions will center on a market structure, and operational frameworks as traditional finance, with its proven standards, converges with blockchain, with its promise of security, programmability, and efficiency.

The growing influence of institutional investors in the over $3 trillion digital asset space has changed dynamics in the once volatile and retail-driven market and the presence of Wall Street companies is driving the uplift in requirements and standards. According to a survey of senior executives carried out by CfC St. Moritz, 73% of the 242 people polled believe that traditional financial institutions are at least half of the market and their influence is steadily growing.

Speakers at the event will represent Standard Chartered Bank, Euronext, DRW, DTCC, Google, S&P Global, Tradeweb, Broadridge, Bloomberg, Solana, Aave, the Canton Network and many more.

Executives will discuss market infrastructure evolution, operational efficiency, and institutional capital deployment in digital assets while the agenda features topics including stablecoins, tokenization and collateral, derivatives and capital markets applications on-chain, as well as the arrival of perpetual futures linked to traditional asset classes. Other discussions will feature 24/7 trading, market structure, liquidity, data integrity, regulatory compliance, settlement and more.

Kaiko has been part of the institutionalization process from the beginning as catering for financial institutions is in the company’s DNA. Ambre Soubiran, Kaiko’s CEO, spent eight years working for a global bank before starting her journey in digital assets, bringing a deep understanding of the frameworks, standards, and operational requirements that large financial institutions expect.

“Financial market infrastructure is being fundamentally restructured. The Agora brings together the institutions and innovators building the common frameworks and standards that will shape the next era of capital markets,” Soubiran said.

Kaiko is supporting the institutionalization of digital asset markets by providing market data and infrastructure, and indices, to financial institutions globally. The company builds accountable and auditable data infrastructure that enables institutional capital to operate across both traditional and on-chain market environments, acting as a bridge between the worlds of TradFi and DeFi, linking execution and post-trade processes taking place in separate ecosystems and enabling investors to consume and act on accurate, IP-protected and verifiable information.

This is precisely the context in which The Agora was created, as a curated forum for the institutions and innovators building the data infrastructure, market structure, and standards that will define the next era of capital markets.
