With 2.65 million hotels, $600,000 in recurring revenue, 40+ ecosystem partners, 65,000 members, and a live AI travel product already in the market, Staynex is transitioning its platform into an on-chain, utility-driven travel infrastructure.
SINGAPORE / HONG KONG / ZUG – April 28, 2026 – Staynex, the AI-powered travel platform combining hotel booking, membership infrastructure, and Web3-native architecture, has activated its on-chain utility layer, which will support membership access, platform incentives, and on-chain revenue allocation.
Staynex enters this phase with an operating platform already in market: 2.65 million hotels integrated globally, $600,000 in recurring revenue, more than 40 ecosystem partners, and a user base exceeding 65,000. The company is moving from traditional travel infrastructure toward a system where membership, incentives, and revenue flows can be managed on-chain.
At the center of the model, $STAY serves as the access layer for travel benefits, membership participation, and platform incentives.
Staynex’s consumer interface is built around AI Travel Wingman, a live planning tool for personalized itineraries, price comparison, and booking. The product is voiced and endorsed by football legend Patrice Evra, supporting Staynex’s push into mainstream travel audiences.
Ocean Club, Staynex’s membership protocol, gives members tiered access to travel benefits, including preferential pricing and curated offers. The protocol is designed to reward longer-term participation rather than one-off transactions. By preserving members’ access to travel benefits across market conditions, it addresses a common weakness in digital loyalty systems, where user value can erode during volatile periods.
“We are not building a points program. We are building a membership model where long-term users can keep access to real travel benefits.” — Yuen Wong, CEO &
Co-Founder, Staynex
Staynex is also targeting the underlying economics of online travel. Jeff Hoffman, Staynex chairman and co-founder of Priceline.com / Booking.com, frames the opportunity as a shift toward more direct relationships between platforms and users. In this model, blockchain infrastructure is a foundational layer for faster settlement, reduced intermediaries, and improved margin efficiency — long-standing challenges in online travel.
“The next winners won’t just list hotels. They’ll build ecosystems that cut friction and give value back to the traveler. That’s structural change, not a feature.” — Jeff Hoffman, Chairman, Staynex
Staynex’s on-chain roadmap accelerated after the company acquired Sleap.io and integrated the team behind the Swiss Web3 hotel-booking platform. The acquisition added product infrastructure, hospitality expertise, and engineering capacity.
“Sleap.io brought us a team that already understood Web3 hotel booking, and that lets us move faster on product and infrastructure.” —
Yuen Wong, CEO & Co-Founder, Staynex
Staynex has also introduced a Transparency and Sustainability Framework for allocating a portion of platform revenue back into the system. Under the framework, a portion of platform revenue is automatically allocated to support operational stability and liquidity. These allocations are executed on-chain and remain fully auditable, directly tying them to real platform performance.
A key milestone is scheduled for July 2026, when the first on-chain allocation cycle will take place. The July cycle will show the model in practice, with platform revenue routed back into the system on-chain.
Traditional online travel agencies often rely on layered intermediaries and margin-heavy structures. Staynex’s model combines AI-driven discovery with programmable infrastructure designed to reduce those inefficiencies.
Staynex is launching the utility layer on BNB Smart Chain to support lower-cost transactions across booking and membership flows.
Staynex, the launch is intended to connect its existing travel business with on-chain membership, incentives, and revenue allocation.
