When hunting for a place to work in Web3, most people see few options other than to look at CoinMarketCap and CoinGecko to try to identify the most promising employers. More than half of all employers in Web3 don't even have their own token, which excludes them from those lists entirely.

This year's top 10 employers
The 2026 Talent Titans list places Aztec in the number one position, followed by Hacken, Aave Labs, Phantom and Tenderly in the top five. o1labs (Mina protocol), LI.FI, OP Labs, Kraken and Messari complete this year's top 10, reflecting a mix of privacy, security, infrastructure, and application focused teams that are shaping the future of Web3.

How the ranking works
The selection process is collaborative, requiring input from multiple stakeholders. Employers are first nominated by their own employees, then invited to complete an extensive questionnaire covering compensation around benefits, career development, management quality, culture, diversity and inclusion, remote policies and more.
Calyptus indexes responses across key criteria including community and social responsibility, innovation and leadership in Web3, learning and growth opportunities, compensation structure, and day to day work environment. An expert panel of top tier independent judges then reviews the underlying responses alongside Calyptus's scores, adjusting rankings based on their own experience and assessment of each organisation's impact. Judges cannot vote for their own employers, ensuring fairness and objectivity throughout the process.
The 2026 judging panel was made up of industry greats, including: Giovana Totini, Chief People Officer at Chainlink Labs, Kirsten Lovely, Head of People at Phantom, Ryan Anderson, Head of Talent at o1 Labs, Pragna Challapalli, Head of People and Culture at Parity Technologies and Jacqueline Finnegan, ex-Injective Labs and Kraken.
