Samsung SDS to further expansion of its enterprise blockchain platform

Samsung’s IT service subsidiary Samsung SDS is planning an expansion of its enterprise blockchain platform to enable easier interoperability with other technologies, Yonhap News Agency writes. It has been working on cloud-based blockchain technologies that can be used in various industries, including manufacturing, logistics, finance, and healthcare.

Samsung’s blockchain-enabled customs solution has already been adopted by the Incheon International Airport in South Korea to facilitate the customs process.

According to the announcement, Samsung is planning to launch a blockchain-based insurance claims solution in late August. The company has been collaborating with local hospitals, insurance companies and digital health care companies on the project.
