Thailand’s largest commercial bank reverses its statement that it would use XRP "soon"

The Siam Commercial Bank (SCB), Thailand’s largest commercial bank, tweeted yesterday that it was planning to utilize XRP shortly. In a now-deleted tweet, SCB claimed that the “XRP system will be announced soon."

In a new tweet that was posted today, SCB said: "We are so sorry for the previous information of the previous post. As of now we have no plan on using XRP."

SCB has carried out Ripple’s cross-border transfers pilot in April. SCB was also the first financial institution to join RippleNet to test its “multi-hop” feature.
