BitGo Holdings Inc. (NYSE: BTGO) on Monday announced the launch of BitGo Link, a new tool that connects institutional clients’ accounts at external crypto exchanges like Crypto.com, Kraken, and Coinbase to the company’s own platform.

Link is designed to provide a single interface for viewing and moving digital assets held both in BitGo custody and at centralized exchanges, making it easier for treasury teams to handle their holdings, according to the announcement.

“Link makes BitGo the command center for institutional treasury and trading," BitGo CEO Mike Belshe said. "One network, no borders: governance travels with the capital, wherever it moves."

Link provides real-time visibility into users’ accounts, including sub-accounts, and enables them to initiate transfers from the BitGo platform to “rebalance across venues, meet margin or liquidity needs, or respond to market opportunities.”

According to the announcement, all Link transfers are routed through BitGo's Policy Engine. The system also enables users to apply additional permissions controls to determine how funds are used. Link will automatically reconcile any transfers against exchange records and track their status through settlement.

The product builds on BitGo’s existing Go Network, which provides settlement and liquidity access within its qualified custody platform. BitGo said it plans to add support for additional exchanges and treasury functions over time.

Last month, BitGo introduced quantum-protection security tools for its wallets.

Founded in 2013, BitGo is one of the largest crypto custodians in the U.S., reporting more than $100 billion in assets under custody on its platform. The company went public in January 2026, shortly after receiving approval for a U.S. trust bank charter alongside firms including Circle and Ripple.

BitGo laid off 15% of its staff in June after reporting widening first-quarter net losses despite strong revenue growth. The firm saw revenue jump 112.6% year-on-year to $3.8 billion while net losses widened to $60.7 million from $25.7 million a year earlier.

BTGO closed at $4.86 on Friday, July 31, and was up slightly in pre-market trading on Monday.

Editor's note: BitGo received unconditional approval from the OCC for its charter.
