Mike Rogers

Mike Rogers currently spends most of his time at The Block Research where he primarily concentrates on the intersection of traditional financial services and the digital assets ecosystem. Since joining The Block Research in 2020, his long-form research & analysis has covered central bank digital currencies (CBDCs), stablecoins, and the digital assets data and infrastructure landscape, among other topics. 

Before joining The Block Research, Mike served as the head of MIB Consulting, a New York-based digital finance transformation firm. MIB Consulting provides tailored research and analysis, advisory, and strategic planning services to agents of the new digital economy. In 2018, he also founded Millennials In Blockchain (MIB), a globally distributed learning collaborative whose members share a passion for Industry 4.0 technologies.

Mike’s tokenization research has been distributed by numerous corporations, including Deloitte and Securitize, Inc. His digital assets research contributions were published in 'The Definitive Guide to Blockchain for Accounting and Business: Understanding the Revolutionary Technology,' a book by Emerald Publishing Limited.

Mike formerly worked in financial services at EY and The Blackstone Group L.P. He holds a B.S. in finance and an M.S. in accounting from The University at Albany, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude.
