Circle closes acquisition of equity crowdfunding platform SeedInvest

Crypto finance company Circle announced the completion of the equity crowdfunding platform SeedInvest, Circle blog writes. The acquisition was first announced in October; now, the company has finally attained regulatory approval from FINRA. According to the blog post, “The acquisition is a further step toward realizing our vision of a more open, global, connected, and inclusive financial system.”  

Following the acquisition, SeedInvest will continue its operations as before. It will also look into possible tokenisation opportunities.
