WhiteBIT has introduced a new product designed to make transferring cryptocurrencies as straightforward as sending an email.

On Thursday, the European exchange unveiled WB Check, an account-free transfer format that lets users send digital assets to anyone, regardless of what wallet or platform they use. Senders select an amount and currency, while recipients later provide their own wallet details to claim the funds. Each check remains valid for up to five years.

According to WhiteBIT, this design allows transfers that are “simple and instant, without additional steps or registration.” WhiteBit claims the tool eliminates the need for verification or wallet compatibility checks, which have long been pain points in crypto transactions.

“WB Check continues our work on making digital asset tools more convenient and accessible for everyday use,” said Volodymyr Nosov, founder and president of the W Group ecosystem, which includes WhiteBIT. “People should not have to change wallets or complete onboarding steps just to receive funds,” he added.

The product supports two security levels. Revocable checks can be canceled before redemption, while irrevocable checks use a six-digit code that locks in the transfer once created. Users can share checks via links, email, or printable QR codes, and recipients can claim assets instantly.

WhiteBIT touts WB Check as a solution for common friction points such as paying event rewards, reimbursing expenses, or gifting crypto to newcomers without forcing them onto a specific exchange. It’s also intended for business settlements that occur outside of regular hours or across time zones.

Founded in 2018, WhiteBIT is part of the W Group, which says it serves over 35 million users globally and partners with firms including Visa, Fireblocks, Juventus Football Club, and the Ukrainian national team.
