DENVER, Colorado, November 7th, 2026,
Incubated by Colorado-based Atlas Global Foundation, the blockchain financial infrastructure project is developing an integrated ecosystem connecting global assets, onchain capital and financial markets.
Quranum Protocol, a blockchain-based financial infrastructure project focused on integrating global assets with decentralized financial markets, has announced $4.5 million in strategic funding from Archer Capital, Tidal Capital and Astra Capital.
According to the project, the financing will support the development of its onchain financial infrastructure, treasury management framework, liquidity systems, ecosystem partnerships and international expansion.
Quranum is incubated by Atlas Global Foundation, a newly established organization registered in Colorado, United States. The foundation's operating company, ATLAS DIGITAL TECHNOLOGIES INC., has also provided documentation of its registration as a Money Services Business (MSB) with the U.S. Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN).
The announcement comes as blockchain-based financial infrastructure continues to evolve beyond individual decentralized applications toward broader financial ecosystems incorporating tokenized assets, capital management and integrated financial services.
Strategic Funding to Support Protocol Development and Global Expansion
The $4.5 million strategic financing involves three investment institutions: Archer Capital, Tidal Capital and Astra Capital.
Quranum said the funding is intended to support several areas of development, including protocol engineering, financial infrastructure, asset integration, liquidity mechanisms and international ecosystem partnerships.
Rather than focusing exclusively on a single decentralized finance application, Quranum is pursuing a broader infrastructure strategy designed to connect different financial functions within a unified blockchain-based framework.
The project's proposed ecosystem encompasses payments, savings, lending, trading, asset management, liquidity infrastructure and real-world assets (RWA).
Through this approach, Quranum aims to address the fragmentation of decentralized financial services, where assets, liquidity and financial applications frequently operate across separate protocols.
Incubated by Atlas Global Foundation
Quranum Protocol is incubated by Atlas Global Foundation, a newly registered organization based in Colorado, United States.
The foundation is intended to support the project's long-term development through protocol incubation, technological research, ecosystem collaboration and global community initiatives.
Its role includes supporting the development of Quranum's underlying financial infrastructure and coordinating resources for the project's international expansion.
The foundation also provides an organizational framework for supporting ecosystem participation, developer engagement and future community governance initiatives.
As part of this structure, ATLAS DIGITAL TECHNOLOGIES INC. serves as the U.S.-based operating company under Atlas Global Foundation.
The operating company is intended to support business operations, technology services and compliance-related infrastructure associated with the foundation's ecosystem initiatives.
Building an Integrated Onchain Financial Ecosystem
Quranum's central objective is to develop a blockchain-based financial ecosystem connecting global assets, capital infrastructure and financial markets.
The project describes its strategy through three interconnected layers: Global Assets → Onchain Capital → Financial Markets.
The first layer focuses on the potential integration of eligible digital assets and tokenized real-world financial instruments.
The second layer is designed around capital infrastructure, including reserve management, collateralization, liquidity provisioning and decentralized credit.
The third layer encompasses financial applications such as trading, lending, payments, asset management and structured financial products.
By connecting these components, Quranum aims to explore how blockchain-based assets can support multiple financial functions within a coordinated ecosystem.
The project summarizes this vision through its positioning statement: “One Ecosystem. Connected Finance.”
Treasury Infrastructure and Capital Management
A central component of Quranum's proposed architecture is its treasury-based financial infrastructure.
The protocol is designed around a framework that distinguishes protocol-owned capital from assets associated with user-facing financial obligations.
Under its proposed dual-treasury architecture, the Protocol Treasury is intended to manage protocol-owned reserves, liquidity positions and other capital resources.
A separate qUSD Reserve is designed to support the reserve management, liquidity and redemption obligations associated with the project's proposed dollar-denominated financial products.
This separation is intended to establish clearer distinctions between protocol capital and assets backing user liabilities.
RON — A protocol governance and value-capture asset intended to participate in the ecosystem's governance and economic framework.
qUSD — A proposed dollar-denominated onchain asset designed for use across eligible financial applications.
sQUSD — A proposed yield-oriented asset intended to provide access to designated reserve-based financial strategies.
The implementation of these mechanisms will depend on technical development, asset eligibility requirements, risk management arrangements and applicable regulatory considerations.
Quranum also intends to explore protocol-owned liquidity mechanisms as part of its long-term capital and market infrastructure.
Connecting Digital Assets and Real-World Assets
Real-world asset tokenization represents another area of Quranum's development strategy.
The project is exploring infrastructure that could support eligible tokenized financial instruments, including U.S. Treasury products, equities, exchange-traded funds and other real-world assets.
By connecting these assets with blockchain-based capital infrastructure, Quranum aims to develop financial applications that extend beyond conventional cryptocurrency trading.
Potential applications include collateralized borrowing, capital allocation, liquidity management and structured financial services.
The project has identified BNB Smart Chain as its intended blockchain deployment environment.
The availability of individual asset classes and financial services will depend on technical integration, issuer permissions, jurisdictional restrictions and other applicable requirements.
From Global Assets to Onchain Financial Markets
Quranum's long-term strategy reflects its ambition to connect financial services that have historically developed across separate blockchain applications.
Through the combination of strategic investment, foundation-backed incubation, U.S. operational infrastructure and international ecosystem collaboration, the project aims to advance a more integrated approach to onchain finance.
Its development priorities include treasury infrastructure, capital management, liquidity systems, asset connectivity and financial market applications.
While several components remain under development, Quranum's stated objective is to establish infrastructure through which eligible assets can be connected with capital and financial markets.
The project describes this long-term direction as: “Assets → Capital → Markets.”
