A Look Into friend.tech Following its Token Launch

friend.tech, a mobile-only social application on Base that enables users to buy and trade “keys” of other users with a connected X (formerly Twitter) account, in which keyholders of a particular user are granted access to a gated chat, launched their native token, FRIEND, in the first week of May 2024.

Following the launch of FRIEND, friend.tech announced new features such as clubs, the ability to pin chat rooms, as well as enabling users to select different price curves for their rooms.
