Data Tools: CheckTheChain

The CheckTheChain (CTC) Python and command-line interface (CLI) package is a tool designed to extract, collect, and analyze data from the Ethereum blockchain or other EVM networks. It can be used with an archive node or a regular node. 

In this research piece, we demonstrate how CTC can be used to extract useful blockchain insights. We use an archive node from Alchemy as a data source to extract both the current and historical data. Other node providers are also supported by CTC; alternatively, one can use a self-hosted archive node to perform the same tasks.
