EIP-3074: Improved Ethereum UX (post EIP-1559)

The most well-known upcoming upgrades to Ethereum are the economic ones — namely EIP-1559 which is expected to go online sometime in July and the switch from Proof-of-Work to Proof-of-Stake consensus mechanism. The former will turn ETH into a productive asset by burning (a majority of) transaction fees, while the latter will direct inflation rewards to ETH token holders instead of miners (i.e. external service providers). EIP-1559 will add a minor user experience benefit by making fee estimation easier since users will always be able to get into a block with a fixed base fee.
