Token price is one of the most important yet often misused metrics for evaluating the crypto landscape. It is a reflection of the supply and demand for assets, i.e. their market value, at a specific point in time, which is not especially useful in isolation. However, when prices are considered in combination with other data points such as trading volume, market capitalization, network activity, user base, and many more, they can start to provide insights into the health of a particular asset.

Understanding all the factors that affect token price movements over a given period is highly valuable for market participants, but attaining a fully nuanced view of these underlying factors, or even predicting future movements, is of course, exceedingly difficult. This is especially so with often limited or confounding data across various blockchains today. Nonetheless, each new data point - even when without a clear relationship with other data - can be informative for a particular market.
