Mapping Out LayerZero Ecosystem

LayerZero is an omnichain interoperability protocol that enables data messaging between blockchains using an Oracle-Relayer messaging mechanism. LayerZero was founded by Bryan Pellegrino, Ryan Zarick, and Caleb Banister in 2021 to significantly improve cross-chain messaging security and decentralization. To date, LayerZero has raised $263 million and achieved its highest valuation ($3 billion) in its latest $120 million Series B funding round. As a result, Stargate Finance, LayerZero's native bridge, surpassed $1 billion in monthly volume as rumors about a potential LayerZero airdrop spread. LayerZero has not communicated any plans about releasing a token.
