Push Protocol: Web3 Notification

Formerly known as Ethereum Push Notification Services or EPNS, Push Protocol is a web3 alert and communication middleware that enables decentralized applications (dApps) to send push notifications to their users in a gasless manner.

dApp developers typically rely on web2 social media platforms, such as Twitter (now X) and Discord, to communicate with their communities. However, this has two disadvantages: it requires dApp users to create and monitor separate social media accounts, and these centralized communication venues could be subject to censorship, especially for crypto-related services.
