Searching for Alpha: Berachain

In August 2021, Bong Bears launched as an NFT project from community members of Olympus DAO. Several months following the public mint, the project's founders initiated the development of Berachain.

Berachain is an upcoming EVM-compatible layer 1 blockchain built with the Cosmos SDK. It incorporates a tri-token system and a proof of liquidity (PoL) consensus mechanism, with native AMM and perpetual swap (perps) exchanges integrated by CrocSwap.
