Before the infamous dark market Silk Road entered the limelight, there were a host of Internet forums that hosted conversations regarding the transaction and creation of drugs during the early ages of the Internet.

One of the more well-known of these forums was a website called The Hive, which became an education hub for those looking to create drugs. Behind The Hive was a pseudonymous user named Strike, who became a folklore hero to many of these do-it-yourself drugmakers.
