A dive into the headquarters of DeFi firms

Many teams behind decentralized finance (DeFi) protocols follow a progressive decentralization model of full decentralization. That is, while the end-goal for a protocol is to be fully untethered from the centralized entity managing its operations, the protocol will start out centralized.

As such, like any other centralized company, the firms behind DeFi protocols, near the early to mid-stages of their progressive decentralization, have official business entities, legal documentations, and centralized headquarters.
