One of the foundations that the yEarn Protocol is built upon is lossless investment strategies.

That is to say, depositors who use yVaults will, at the very worst, be breakeven on their deposits — barring hacks and smart contract bugs. While this strategy helps establish an aura of safety and trust for yEarn, it also greatly limits the number of strategies that yEarn can explore — thereby restricting the potential upside of yVaults compared to competing protocols like Harvest Finance and Pickle Finance.
