Rapid Insights: Frax's Liquid Staking Strategy

Frax Finance recently announced the launch of its liquid staking initiative that allows users to stake ether (ETH) and receive the corresponding liquid derivative token called Frax Ether (frxETH). This is Frax Finance’s first foray into the liquid staking space and according to Frax core developer Jack Corddry, the liquid staking functionality will be ready in two weeks. Frax Finance has also tweeted that they are already an active validator on Ethereum 2.0.

Aside from the liquid staking launch, Frax Finance has also prepared ancillaries for frxETH, such as setting up a Curve pool for trading frxETH at low slippage, along with a completed security audit of the token contract.
