Rapid Insights: Pre-market Offerings

In the past three months, there were at least four notable token launches, namely, JTO, MANTA, ALT and JUP. These airdrops garnered so much attention that over-the-counter (OTC) markets, such as Whales Market, started to surface to cater to the trading demand for such tokens before their token generation events. These markets are typically referred to as pre-market trading. 

Aside from Whales Market, a handful of decentralized perpetual exchanges, namely Aevo and Hyperliquid, have also begun to offer pre-market trading on their platforms. This research piece will compare the pricing of such tokens pre-market against their launch prices.
