Searching for Alpha: Symbiotic

Cross-staking (or restaking) has become one of the most prominent narratives within the Ethereum ecosystem, spearheaded by EigenLayer. To recap, cross-staking enables the rehypothecation of collateral to economically secure multiple infrastructures concurrently via proof-of-stake consensus. 

While EigenLayer is a holistic cross-staking protocol that secures services with staked ETH (and EIGEN), Symbiotic aims to provide a more generalized and modular framework for cross-staking that offers more flexibility to participants of the shared security market, such as infrastructure operators and stakers.
