The crypto private investment sector has been sputtering lately, with ambiguity hovering amid the SEC's legal actions against Binance and Coinbase. Nevertheless, Q2'23 has broken a four-quarter streak of decreasing private investments in the crypto/blockchain sector, with $3.2 billion invested among 508 deals. The Block Pro Research utilized its proprietary data to analyze the investors that have partaken in crypto venture deals this quarter. The top 10 Most Active Investors (MAI) have collectively invested in 90 unique companies, which The Block Pro Research has mapped out.

Six (Polygon Studios, DWF Labs, Hashkey Capital, Coinbase Ventures, Shima Capital, Animoca Brands) of the Q1'23 MAI continued their streak in private blockchain investments and made the Q2'23 list. To the list returned NGC Ventures, Spartan Group, OKX Blockdream Ventures, and Superscrypt.
