Mapping out Blockchain Capital's portfolio

Blockchain Capital is one of the oldest crypto-focused investment firms in the industry. The firm was founded in 2013 by Bart Stephens, Bradford Stephens, and Brock Pierce to make both equity and token investments in crypto and blockchain companies. In 2017, Blockchain Capital pioneered one of the industry’s first instance of a tokenized investment fund, selling its BCAP token through a security token offering in 2017 and raising over $10 million in the process. BCAP provides its holders with exposure to Blockchain Capital's investments and returns.

More recently, Blockchain Capital raised $150 million for its fourth fund, the firm’s largest raise to date. The firm has deployed its capital into nearly 70 startups and protocols across 15 verticals, which The Block has mapped out.
