Mapping Out Framework Ventures' Portfolio

Framework Ventures is a San Francisco-based venture firm focused on crypto and web3 projects, founded by Michael Anderson and Vance Spencer in 2019.

Since the fund's inception, DeFi (Decentralized Finance) has been the main thesis revolving around its investments, based on the idea that the financial services industry is ripe for innovation through open-source technology. To gain exposure to the newly forming financial services sector, Framework Ventures has launched three funds: a $15 million Fund I (July 2019), a $100 million Fund II (May 2021), and a $400 million Fund III (April 2022), half of which was supposed to be dedicated towards blockchain gaming.
